York, Maine | Vacation and Travel Photographer

A huge thank-you to the beautiful film-only blog Belle Lumiere for featuring these images in their Lifestyle section! I love their blog - you must check it out and get lost in all the lovely images they post daily!

I made this title up for myself ("vacation and travel photographer"). How awesome would it be to get paid to take photos while on vacation??
Instead, I just bring my camera and some film and take lots of photos just for fun, and then make prints when I get home, even though I ran out of room on my walls a while ago.

Here is a collection of images from my vacation to York, Maine this summer. My inlaws and their very large extended family (65+ people) travel to York Beach each year, rent houses for a week, to relax on the sand and catch up. By relax I mean, play beach volleyball, build castles, splash in the ocean, and light sparklers at night. Then there's the nightly poker games, bonfires, board games, ice cream at Browns (I die!), and BBQ's......but I digress.

All these images were taken with a Contax 645AF using Kodak Portra 160, 400, 800 and Ektar 100, and the ones at the end were taken on Kodak T-Max 400. Developed and scanned by The FIND Lab
